What are the signs of brain cancer

Brain cancer refers to a new growth in the cranial cavity, also known as a malignant brain tumor. It can originate from the brain, meninges, nerves, blood vessels and brain appendages, or be formed by the metastasis of malignant tumors from other tissues or organs of the body into the skull. It includes primary brain cancer that originates from the brain parenchyma and secondary brain cancer that metastasizes from other parts of the body to the skull. Malignant brain tumors grow rapidly, have no capsule, have unclear boundaries, grow in an invasive manner, and are poorly differentiated.

1. Morning headache: Headache is a common symptom of brain cancer, often occurring at four or five in the morning. People are often awakened by the pain while sleeping. The headache gradually eases or disappears after getting up and doing some light activities, so it is called "morning headache". Tumors in the posterior cranial fossa can cause neck pain that radiates to the eye sockets, and the severity of the headache gradually increases as the disease progresses.

2. Visual impairment: Increased intracranial pressure can cause venous blood in the eye to flow back to the brain and cause edema, leading to decreased vision. In severe cases, there are punctate, linear, or flaky lesions or even bleeding in the retina of the fundus, causing blurred vision.

3. Projectile vomiting: Brain cancer is a malignant tumor in the brain, and the mortality rate of this disease is very high. So far, the cause of brain cancer has not been thoroughly studied. Do you know what the early symptoms of brain cancer are? Here are some early symptoms of brain cancer.

3. Projectile vomiting: Compared with vomiting caused by gastrointestinal diseases, vomiting in patients with brain cancer is not accompanied by abdominal distension, nausea, or diarrhea. However, when intracranial pressure increases, "projectile vomiting" symptoms will appear after a headache.

4. Mental abnormalities: Brain tumors located in the frontal lobe of the brain can destroy the mental activities of the frontal lobe, causing mental abnormalities such as excitement, agitation, depression, and depression.

5. Olfactory hallucinations: Olfactory hallucinations occur because the temporal lobe located in the lower part of the brain is stimulated by the tumor. Brain cancer patients often smell odors that do not actually exist, such as burning rubber, burnt rice, etc.

6. Monocular exophthalmos: One eyeball protrudes forward. In severe cases, the eyelid does not close completely. The most common cause is a brain tumor.

7. Decreased sensation: The parietal lobe located in the middle of the cerebral hemisphere is responsible for sensation. Brain cancer in this area can cause decreased or absent sensations such as unilateral limb pain and body shape discrimination.

8. Unilateral deafness: If there is no history of otitis media or trauma, and only one ear has progressive hearing loss, accompanied by tinnitus on the same side, it is likely caused by an intracranial tumor compressing the auditory nerve.

9. Hemiplegia: One is weakness or hemiplegia of one side of the body, which is manifested by less movement or immobility of the affected limb. The other is limb disorder on one side, which is manifested by clumsy or unstable movements.

If similar symptoms to the above occur, we remind you to go to a regular cancer hospital for diagnosis and treatment in time. By cooperating with the treatment of professional doctors, you can eliminate hidden dangers and recover your health as soon as possible.
