Tibetan medicine is something we are quite familiar with, and there are many types of Tibetan medicine, all of which can be identified and used by professionals. Of course, if some serious medical problems occur, the use of correct Tibetan medicine treatment will be very effective. There are some names of Tibetan medicine that we are not familiar with, so we should pay special attention to it, because in order to treat the disease we also need to have a proper understanding of it. What are the names of Tibetan medicine? According to statistics from relevant data, there are currently about 3,000 kinds of Tibetan medicine in my country. Tibet is the birthplace of Tibetan medicine and has a long history of application. There are more than 360 kinds of Tibetan medicines commonly used in this area, mainly from plants of Asteraceae, Fabaceae, Ranunculaceae, Papaveraceae, Apiaceae, Gentianaceae, Rosaceae, Scrophulariaceae, Cruciferae and Liliaceae. Important medicinal genera include Meconopsis, Pedicularis, Corydalis, Primula and Saxifraga. Among commonly used Tibetan medicines, those containing bioalkaloids account for about 50%. These highly active ingredients are mostly found in medicinal plants such as Aconitum, Delphinium, Thalictrum, Scopolamine, Sophora, Gentiana and Berberis. For example, rhubarb is an important Tibetan medicine. There are 28 species of Rhubarb distributed in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, of which 21 are used in Tibetan medicine. Rhubarb used in Tibetan medicine is divided into three grades: upper, middle and lower. The upper grade (Junmu Zha) includes Rhubarb palmae and Rhubarb tangut, as well as Rhubarb border, Himalayan, Rhubarb tower, Tibetan rhubarb, etc. Rhubarb with wavy leaves is also used in Qinghai, Gansu and other places; the middle grade (Qushi Zha) includes Rhubarb spike, Rhubarb with divided spike, Rhubarb with long spike, Rhubarb with reticulate vein, Rhubarb with heart leaf, Rhubarb with red 1 vein and Rhubarb with ovate leaf; the lower grade (Quma Zha) includes Rhubarb small. At present, a unified medication specification has been formulated for Tibetan medicine, namely the "Tibetan Medicine Standard" compiled by six provinces and regions including Tibet, Qinghai, Sichuan, Gansu, Yunnan and Xinjiang, which includes 227 kinds of Tibetan medicine, including 197 plants, 17 animals and 13 minerals. The main species are: Tibetan fennel, henbane, Tibetan codonopsis, Tibetan lithospermum, snow lotus, Rhodiola rosea, Kanba Sebao (Artemisia selengensis), Qumazi (Dajianju), Dama (Rhododendron condensed), wild buffalo heart, vulture, lithospermum officinale, lac insect, etc. Tibetan medicine resources are abundant and distributed in the vast areas where Tibetans live on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. They are also included in many Tibetan medical documents. Tibetan medicine is mainly distributed in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. The complex and unique natural conditions here have formed a rich variety of plant resources. From the tropical monsoon forests in southeastern Tibet to the vast grasslands in northern Tibet, there are plant species reflecting tropical, subtropical, temperate and frigid zones. According to historical records, there are 6,144 species of vascular plants in Tibet, ranking fourth in the country. Throughout history, Tibet has been a treasure trove of medicinal plants in my country. According to preliminary statistics, there are more than a thousand species of wild medicinal plant resources, among which Cordyceps sinensis, Fritillaria thunbergii, Panax notoginseng, Gastrodia elata, Ganoderma lucidum, etc. are precious medicinal materials sold both at home and abroad; Torreya grandis, Taxus chinensis, Podophyllum, Hedyssa officinalis, Lithospermum officinale, Slender Photinia oxyphylla, Lilium wilfordii, etc. are a type of anti-cancer medicinal plants with development potential. In addition, there are various traditional Chinese medicinal materials such as Amomum villosum, Uncaria rhynchophylla, Gentiana macrophylla, Cortex moutan, Papaya, Paris polyphylla, Ephedra, Peach kernel, Coptis chinensis, Bupleurum, Angelica sinensis, Astragalus, Gentiana scabra, Codonopsis pilosula, Aconitum, Rhubarb, Tripterygium wilfordii, Snow lotus, Schisandra chinensis and so on. |
