What are the common advanced symptoms of colorectal cancer?

Although colorectal cancer has been spreading around us in recent years, many patients still do not understand the late symptoms of colorectal cancer . Some patients have lost their lives due to their lack of understanding of the late symptoms of colorectal cancer. Let’s take a look at the late symptoms of colorectal cancer.

Symptom 1: Anal canal cancer. Through observation, it is found that patients with this disease often have blood in their stools and pain. The pain worsens during defecation. When the cancer invades the anal sphincter, there may be fecal incontinence. Anal canal cancer can metastasize to the inguinal lymph nodes, so swollen and hard lymph nodes can be felt in the groin.

Symptom 2: Rectal cancer. In daily life, patients with this disease often experience increased bowel movements, thinner stools, blood or mucus, and tenesmus. Since the cancer can invade the sacral plexus nerves, severe pain may occur. If the bladder is involved, symptoms such as frequent urination and urgency may occur.

Symptom 3: Right colon cancer. This is the most common clinical condition. Patients may experience indigestion, fatigue, loss of appetite, alternating diarrhea, abdominal distension, abdominal mass, and progressive anemia. The location of the mass varies with the location of the lesion. In addition, there may be fever, weight loss, and complications such as perforation and localized abscesses. At this time, the lesion has entered the most advanced stage.

Symptom 4: Left-sided colon cancer. This disease can cause the sigmoid colon to become narrow and form an acute angle with the rectum, which can easily lead to stenosis and progressive intestinal obstruction. There is often stubborn constipation and an increase in the frequency of bowel movements. Since the obstruction is mostly in the lower part of the sigmoid colon, vomiting is mild or absent, but abdominal distension, abdominal pain, bowel sounds and intestinal patterns are obvious.

The above materials introduce the common late-stage symptoms of colorectal cancer. After the late-stage symptoms of colorectal cancer occur, they will have a great impact on the patient's body, so we must discover the existence of the disease as early as possible and treat it. I hope you can remember these late-stage symptoms of colorectal cancer. Here I wish you a speedy recovery.
