Every night, many people will feel itching inside their bladder, which will affect the quality of sleep, so we should pay more attention to it, especially for male friends. Once bladder itching occurs, it may be caused by acute prostatitis. If this is the case, treatment will become very difficult and will also cause a series of serious symptoms. 1. Acute cystitis is mainly manifested by bladder irritation symptoms such as frequent urination, urgency, and pain when urinating. However, the main symptom of cystitis patients is pain at the end of urination, and bacteria grow in midstream urine culture. 2. Acute pyelonephritis is mainly manifested by sudden urinary frequency, urgency, pain and other urinary tract irritation symptoms. It is often accompanied by symptoms such as low back pain, chills, fever, and physical examination shows percussion pain in the kidney area. Routine urine examination showed pus cells. 3. Acute prostatitis is also manifested by frequent urination, urgency and pain when urinating. However, prostatitis can cause perineal discomfort, difficulty urinating, and fever; rectal examination reveals an enlarged prostate with tenderness. 4. Gonococcal urethritis is also manifested by frequent urination, urgency and pain, redness and swelling of the urethral opening, and thin or purulent secretions. There is often a history of unclean sexual intercourse, and gonococci can be seen in a smear examination of urethral secretions, which can confirm the diagnosis. 5. Bladder tuberculosis also manifests as frequent urination, urgency, and pain when urinating, and pus cells are found in the urine. There is often a history of urinary tract tuberculosis, and acid-fast bacilli may be found in urine acid-fast staining. 6. Trichomonas urethritis is also manifested by frequent urination, urgency, burning pain and itching in the urethra. Trichomonas can be found in urethral secretions. Urinalysis showed leukocytosis or pyuria, accompanied by erythrocytes and, in a few cases, gross hematuria. The three-cup urine test shows that there are a large number of pus cells and red blood cells in the first cup, while the second and third cups are basically normal. The number of bacteria in first-stream urine cell culture was significantly higher than that in midstream urine. A smear examination of urethral or vaginal secretions may reveal intracellular or extracellular gonococci in gonococcal urethritis, and a swab of secretions or anterior urethra may be used to culture nonspecific urethritis, which may show a large amount of bacterial growth. If no bacteria are found in secretion smears and cultures, there is a possibility of mycoplasma or chlamydia infection, and special methods of culture or PCR testing can be performed. Chronic urethritis requires urethrocystoscopy to clarify the cause of the disease. Sometimes a metal urethral probe can be used to test for stricture in the urethra, and urethrography can be performed if necessary. During the acute phase, it is forbidden to use instruments to examine the urethra. |
