Within 5-7 days after surgery, you should apply ice or heat, take anti-inflammatory drugs, and avoid getting the wound wet. Continue to apply ice for 48 hours, then change to heat after 48 hours. Take anti-inflammatory drugs for 3-5 days after surgery, and avoid getting the wound wet (avoid it when washing your face).
