What is the reason for arm soreness

Basically, our arms are involved in any of our daily activities, and it can be said that it is one of the most frequently used parts of the body. If your arms are used frequently, they can easily feel sore and swollen. Some of this is due to fatigue, while some is even caused by illness. If the cause of the soreness and swelling is clear, it can be relieved by resting well, but if it persists for a long time, you should be careful that it may be caused by an arm disease. So, what causes arm soreness?

There are many causes of arm pain, and most can be traced back to one thing - muscle fatigue. If the pain is severe on the first day and better the next day, then there is nothing wrong with it, but if the pain comes back for no clear reason, then it could be arthritis.

If the pain gets worse, you may have a fractured forearm or upper arm. You might think that a broken bone would be easy to feel, but people often break a bone without realizing it, for example, from a bump or fall, until you suddenly feel pain from increased activity or pressure on the injured area.

One of the most common diseases for arm pain is tennis elbow, which is a type of "tendinitis", an inflammation of the tendon tissue around the elbow joint (the same condition can also occur in the knee joint, and is generally more common in housewives and those who do housework). Arm pain caused by bursitis is easier to identify because the elbow symptoms caused by bursitis include warmth, tenderness (painful to the touch), and painful swelling of the elbow. When suffering from tennis elbow, although the elbow becomes useless, there are no such symptoms.

Shoulder and arm muscle spasms are often caused by local cold, long-term work with the head bowed, long-term computer operation, incorrect sitting posture, etc. Because of maintaining a certain posture for a long time, the neck muscles and joints are always in a tense state, which can easily cause symptoms of shoulder and arm pain.

During the acute stage of frozen shoulder, symptoms of shoulder and arm pain may occur, which are often lighter during the day and heavier at night. However, it is often accompanied by limited shoulder joint movement.

The upper arm itself is difficult to injure because this part of the muscles is well developed. The direct cause of upper arm pain is usually biceps tendonitis, which is when the tendon near the shoulder is worn or strained, causing sudden and severe pain in the biceps in the upper arm.
