In cold seasons, we rely on urination to get rid of the cold. However, the temperature in our room is too high, which often makes people sweat, but the amount of urination does not increase. As a result, the function of our kidneys and bladder to expel cold gradually weakens. As the seasons change, our two major channels for expelling cold (sweating and diuresis) are in a state of disorder and weakness, and moisture in the body accumulates more and more. As the saying goes: Water that remains stagnant for a hundred days becomes poisonous. If the dampness in the human body cannot be discharged in time, the blood will be polluted, causing fluid accumulation, edema, acne, dizziness, and various inflammatory infections. Among them, allergies are a typical disease caused by both cold and dampness. 2. Actively expel cold and dampness and deal with it. 1) One point of moisture is one point of cold. If we don’t know how to remove dampness, then we should first find ways to avoid and eliminate the cold. Especially for middle-aged and elderly people, they should frequently add and remove clothes and avoid keeping their hands and feet in water for a long time; 2) Allergic rhinitis usually gets worse when the weather turns cooler. Because the cold air cannot be discharged with sweat, it causes "cold stagnation and blood stasis", that is, poor blood circulation, so the nose is more severely blocked at this time. At this time, we just need to exercise a little and sweat a little, the cold air will be expelled, and the nose will be unblocked immediately. 3) If your nose is blocked, use the sneezing method, which will cause a lot of clear mucus (cold air) to flow out and your nose will be unblocked immediately; 4) If you have a severe headache after catching a cold, use the vomiting method, which will cause sweat and phlegm to come out (cold air) and the headache will stop immediately; 5) Exercise more to strengthen your physical fitness. |
