What are the clinical manifestations of fibroids

Many of us are troubled by fibroids. After this disease occurs, it has a serious impact on the physical health of our patients, so we must know more about this disease, especially the symptoms of this disease, so that we can better treat it. So what are the clinical manifestations of fibroids? The following is a detailed introduction.

Fibroids can be divided into two types: soft and hard. Soft ones are also called skin tags, usually with stalks, of varying sizes, soft and inelastic, and are often seen on the face, neck, chest and back. Hard ones refer to hard nodules with capsules composed of proliferating fibrous tissue. They are not easy to recur or metastasize after removal. They grow slowly and vary in size, ranging from the tip of a needle to the size of an egg or larger. They are solid, round, hard, smooth, with clear boundaries, no adhesions, large range of motion, no tenderness, and rarely cause compression and functional disorders. Fibroids have the following characteristics:

1. They can be seen on all parts of the body, in varying sizes, with a smooth surface, or in the shape of a head, and can be observed freely.

2. Some with pedicles can also be seen, which can grow to several kilograms, are mostly loose and hanging, soft to the touch, and have pigmentation.

3. According to its tissue composition and properties, there are two special types: soft and hard. Soft fibroma, also known as skin tag, is often seen on the face, neck, chest and back. It has a pedicle, varies in size, is soft and elastic. Hard fibroma is more common in women aged 20-40 years old, and is more common on the abdominal wall. It is a hard, painless, non-mobile tumor with unclear boundaries from surrounding tissues. It grows slowly, has no capsule and grows in an infiltrative manner. It is easy to recur after resection and can become malignant.

4. Pathological sections can determine the nature of the tumor. Fibroma grows in an invasive manner, has no capsule, and has unclear boundaries with surrounding tissues. Local resection is prone to recurrence, and those with multiple recurrences may become malignant tumors, so they are classified as "borderline tumors."

The information introduced by the experts above can give you a deeper understanding of the disease of fibroids. I hope that after understanding the types and main symptoms of fibroids, you can find out your health problems more quickly. Because the appearance of fibroids is closely related to the body's endocrine system and other systems.
