Can seborrheic alopecia be cured?

For the problem of seborrheic alopecia, we need to pay attention to choosing the right method for active treatment in normal times. This is very important for us. Chinese medicine for the treatment of seborrheic dermatitis:

(1) Prescription

6 grams of stir-fried dandelion, 6 grams of scorched gardenia, 6 grams of scutellaria, 6 grams of phellodendron, 6 grams of bupleurum, 12 grams of raw rehmannia, 12 grams of poria, 12 grams of oriental water plantain, 12 grams of yam, 10 grams of stir-fried peony bark, 10 grams of white peony root, 10 grams of plantain seed (wrapped and decocted); 3 grams of schisandra chinensis, 3 grams of akebia.

If the scalp is damp or oily, add 9g of silkworm excrement, 9g of Poria cocos, and 9g of talcum powder (wrapped and decocted);

For dry, yellow hair, add 12g mulberry, 9g dodder seed, and 15g Polygonum multiflorum.

If the itching is quite severe, add 6g of Radix Aconiti Lateralis, 9g of Fructus Viticis, 6g of Gastrodia, 9g of Chrysanthemum, and 6g of Fructus Cnidium;

For scalp flushing or sores, add 9g of honeysuckle, 6g of lotus seed heart, 9g of forsythia, and 9g of lithospermum officinale;

If you have excessive sweating and oily scalp, add 9 grams of Schisandra chinensis and 6 grams of mulberry leaves.

(2) Topical medications

Apply raw Platycladus orientalis leaf tincture externally twice a day.

Western medicine treatment of seborrheic dermatitis:

(1) Take 10 mg of vitamin B2 three times a day; 20 mg of vitamin B6 three times a day; or 3 tablets of vitamin B complex three times a day.

(2) Oral cystine 50 mg each time, 3 times a day;

(3) If the itching is obvious, take 4 mg of promethazine 3 times a day.

(4) For patients with acute extensive lesions, take 10 mg of prednisone 3 times a day or 1.5 mg of dexamethasone 3 times a day for 5-7 days.
