What kind of honey is good for nourishing the stomach

If you want to nourish your stomach and prevent some gastrointestinal problems, then the correct conditioning method is a scientific diet, and there are some dietary health care methods that are more beneficial. Honey has a good stomach-nourishing effect, but you should also pay attention to how to choose honey. Common honeysuckle honey and aloe honey are both very effective.

1. Select "Dazhong Mi"

Some fresh honey varieties on the market, such as honeysuckle honey and aloe honey, may have been blended because these crops are rarely grown on a large scale. It is recommended to buy popular honeys such as locust flower honey and jujube flower honey, and do not be superstitious about functional honey.

2. Drink energy supplement in the morning

Drinking honey in the morning can not only nourish yin and moisten dryness, but also quickly replenish physical energy. It is best to take honey 1-1.5 hours before meals or 2-3 hours after meals to avoid irritating the stomach and intestines. It is particularly important to note that people with weak spleen and stomach should not drink honey on an empty stomach. They can spread honey on bread or steamed buns and eat them to completely retain the nutrients of honey.

3. Cold water moisturizes the intestines, warm water nourishes

The water temperature for preparing honey should not exceed 50 degrees Celsius, otherwise the nutrients will easily be lost. If taken with warm boiled water (around 40 degrees Celsius), it will have a better nourishing effect; if taken with cool boiled water (room temperature), it will have a more significant effect in moistening the intestines and promoting bowel movements.

4. Avoid contact with metal objects during storage

Honey is acidic. When storing it, do not use metal containers to avoid chemical reactions. In addition, honey crystallization is normal and has nothing to do with quality. After consumption, the container should be kept airtight. Honey has strong moisture and odor absorption properties, so moisture and odor should be prevented from entering, which would cause the honey to ferment and deteriorate. Do not store at too high a temperature to avoid destroying the nutrients.
