Palpitations are one of the most prominent symptoms of anemia. Tachycardia and a soft systolic murmur can be heard at the apex or pulmonary valve area, called anemic murmur. A diastolic murmur can be heard in severe anemia. Severe anemia or pre-existing coronary heart disease can cause angina pectoris, heart enlargement, and heart failure.

Warm reminder: Anemia refers to the situation in which the number of red blood cells, hemoglobin content and hematocrit in a certain volume of blood are lower than normal values. Anemia with rapid onset and severe degree often indicates acute blood loss or hemolysis, while anemia with slow onset often indicates chronic blood loss or lack of hematopoietic raw materials. Symptoms of anemia include pale lips, bloodless nails, fatigue and weakness, accompanied by tinnitus, drowsiness, dizziness and memory loss.
