Nowadays, many young people who work late shifts during the day stay up all night at night, playing games or watching TV series, etc. Staying up late will become a habit over time, and they will always be very awake and unable to fall asleep at bedtime. Over time, it will harm their health and they will often have headaches if they can't fall asleep for a long time, so it causes headaches and insomnia. So how do we solve the problem of headaches and insomnia? 1. Hot water - effective and easy to use If you have a headache, you can soak your hands in hot water. The water must be very hot. As soon as you put your hands in the water, you will feel so hot that you want to take them out. Then, put your hands in the water again, and take them out again. After repeating this several times, your hands will gradually feel numb, and the headache will be alleviated or disappear. 2. Qianghuo (Notopterygium wilfordii) – available at Chinese medicine stores Mash 10 grams of Notopterygium wilfordii into powder (some Chinese medicine stores can process it for you), add an egg white and a little flour, stir until it becomes viscous, not too thin, apply to the area where you have a headache, put a piece of gauze on it, put a hot water bottle or a preheated heat pack (the kind that can be plugged in) on the gauze for 20-30 minutes, once a day is enough. If you feel overheated, wrap it with a towel. 3. Acupoint massage - The acupoint map was taken when I was seeing a doctor. After the doctor's massage, the pain was indeed less severe. Massage technique: Press your fingers on the acupoints and rotate them 20 times to the left and right. Strength requirement: Start with light force and gradually increase the force. Baihui Point: It is located in the middle of the head and extends to the intersection of the line connecting the top of the head and the tips of the two ears. Temple: The midpoint of the line between the end of the eyebrow and the corner of the eye, about one horizontal finger backward. Don't use too much pressure, just massage gently. Yintang Point: Located at the midpoint of the line connecting the two eyebrows. 4. Chrysanthemum - It is best not to put a pillowcase on it for long-term use Make a pillow with pure cotton or soft cloth. It should not be smaller than the height of the head and the width of the shoulders. Put about 300-400 grams of dry white chrysanthemums in it. Use this pillow every day when you go to bed. Alternatively, place two pots of chrysanthemums next to the bed. The fragrance they emit can help you sleep. 5. Massage - palms and soles of feet, need persistence Soak your feet after washing them every day. It is best if your feet are slightly red. Soak your feet in hot water first, then your left foot and then your right foot. Put the foot that has not been massaged in the hot water. Place your left foot on your right thigh, and rub the sole of your left foot with your right palm until both the palm of your hand and the sole of your foot become warm. Repeat this process by rubbing the sole of your right foot and the palm of your left hand. |
