Asthma is a relatively common phenomenon, and in recent years, more and more patients have died from asthma, so people have begun to pay attention to this disease. In fact, there are many symptoms of asthma. As long as we discover the symptoms and manifestations of asthma in time and treat it in time, there will not be too many problems. So, what are the symptoms of asthma? 1. Typical bronchial asthma presents with recurrent symptoms such as chest tightness, wheezing, difficulty breathing, and cough. Before an attack, there are often precursor symptoms such as nasal congestion, sneezing, and itchy eyes. Severe attacks may cause severe breathing difficulties and hypoxemia within a short period of time. Sometimes cough is the only symptom (cough variant asthma). Attacks and exacerbations at night or in the early morning are one of the characteristics of asthma. Asthma symptoms can develop within minutes. Some symptoms may resolve on their own, but most require active treatment. During an attack, there are scattered and diffuse expiratory wheezing sounds in both lungs, the expiratory phase is prolonged, and sometimes there are dry rales in both the inspiratory and expiratory phases. In severe attacks, breath sounds may become low and wheezing sounds may disappear, which is clinically called "static lungs". It indicates that the condition is serious and respiratory arrest may occur at any time. Asthma patients may not have any symptoms or signs when they are not having an asthma attack. 2. According to clinical manifestations, it can be divided into acute attack period, chronic persistent period and clinical remission period. The chronic persistent phase refers to the occurrence of symptoms (wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness, cough, etc.) at varying frequencies and/or varying degrees; the clinical remission phase refers to the disappearance of symptoms and signs with or without treatment; lung function returns to the level before the acute attack and lasts for more than 3 months. Methods for diagnosing drug-induced asthma. 1. The method for diagnosing drug-induced asthma is to stop the medication and give appropriate treatment. Most asthma can be quickly relieved. 2. Asthma may recur when the same drug or drug of the same class is used again. 3. Asthma caused by allergic reactions is often accompanied by other clinical manifestations of allergic reactions, such as rash, urticaria, laryngeal edema, anaphylactic shock, etc. 4. The patient has a clear history of using suspicious drugs, and should be asked whether he has a history of atopic diathesis. Patients with drug-induced asthma with atopic diathesis are often related to allergies. This is one way to diagnose drug-induced asthma. 5. A typical asthma attack may occur or the existing asthma may worsen within a few minutes to a few days after the use of a certain drug. Usually, the incubation period of asthma induced by certain specific drugs is relatively fixed. Through the introduction above, I believe everyone should have understood the symptoms of asthma. Once such a phenomenon occurs, we must consider whether there is asthma. Patients with more serious conditions must go to a regular hospital for examination. This is safer for us. Patients must not delay the disease. |
