With the rapid development of the economy, people nowadays are under increasing pressure in life, and the pace of life is getting faster and faster. Therefore, the probability of people getting sick can be said to be getting higher and higher. Of course, medicine is becoming increasingly advanced, and many medical problems are being solved one by one. As the economy develops, we are becoming more and more aware of some diseases that we knew nothing about before. Does any of you know what the corticospinal tract is? The axons of pyramidal cells in the middle and superior parts of the precentral gyrus, the anterior part of the paracentral lobule, and some other cortical areas form the corticospinal tract, which descends through the posterior limb of the internal capsule to the base of the cerebral peduncle in the midbrain, occupying the lateral part of the middle 3/5; then it reaches the base of the pons, disperses into fiber bundles of varying sizes and descends; when it reaches the medullary pyramids, the fibers gather together to form a bundle. Corticospinal tract At the lower end of the cone, most of the fibers (about 70% to 90%) cross each other to form a cone cross. The crossed fibers descend to the posterolateral part of the lateral cord of the contralateral spinal cord to form the lateral corticospinal tract. During the descending process, the fibers of the corticospinal lateral tract successively terminate at the anterior horn motor cells of each segment of the ipsilateral spinal cord, mainly the lateral anterior horn nucleus, and send fibers through the spinal nerve roots to the spinal nerves, innervating the limb girdle muscles and limb muscles. The uncrossed fibers in the medulla oblongata descend in the anterior cord of the ipsilateral spinal cord, forming the anterior corticospinal tract on both sides of the anterior median spinal fissure. Its fibers cross through the anterior commissure of the white matter segment by segment and terminate at the anterior horn motor cells of the contralateral side. Some uncrossed fibers terminate at the anterior horn motor neurons of the ipsilateral side after relaying. It is generally believed that the anterior corticospinal tract only reaches the upper several segments of the cervical and thoracic spinal cord. The axons emitted by the motor cells in the anterior horns of the spinal cord form the motor fibers in the ventral roots and spinal nerves, which are distributed in the skeletal muscles of the trunk and limbs and manage the voluntary movements of these muscles. Corticospinal tract injury is very important for patients. Many patients should pay attention to their diet. For patients with corticospinal tract injury, a reasonable diet is a prerequisite for treating the disease and is also the most important and basic link. Nowadays, our cultural level is getting higher and higher, and our understanding of many diseases is becoming more scientific, so we must be proactive in preventing diseases. |
