The World Health Organization once published a health standard, which included "three fasts": walking fast, talking fast, and defecating fast. If you can achieve these three "fasts", it at least shows that your athletic ability, thinking ability and digestive ability are up to standard.

Speak fast

First of all, you need to think quickly and synchronize your expression and thinking. When a person's brain is in a state of stagnation or even disorder due to lack of oxygen or other reasons, it is impossible to express thoughts clearly and quickly.

Therefore, if a person suddenly changes his or her speaking habits, especially those over the age of 50, brain disease should be considered, the main one being cerebrovascular disease, which is even a precursor to stroke for many people.

Speaking fast also requires confidence. The famous Chinese medicine practitioner Mr. Wang Mianzhi once said in his book that if the patient cannot always pronounce the last few words of a sentence clearly, or cannot help coughing at the end, it is mostly due to qi deficiency, because they do not have the strength to finish speaking in one breath. To be able to speak each word with power, one needs a good body as a foundation.

Walk fast

First of all, you need good physical strength and muscles, and you also need the body's movement coordination function. Both are indispensable. People who can walk with big strides at least have no physical problems and will not have ataxia caused by cerebrovascular disease. This is naturally a sign of good health.

Walking fast also requires more sufficient oxygen supply. If a person walks slowly or strolls, there is no problem. However, if he speeds up a little or jogs, his legs will feel sore, especially if one leg is sore, and he may not be able to continue walking fast. This also requires consideration of local blood supply problems. There may be blood clots in the large blood vessels. There is a disease caused by this called "intermittent claudication", which mostly occurs when walking for a long time or walking fast or even jogging.

Pull fast

Quick bowel movements directly reflect digestive problems. People with good health and children can have quick bowel movements because they have good "temper". Specifically, their intestinal peristalsis is strong and regular, so they can defecate quickly.

Once the physical condition declines, especially the digestive function declines, it is either diarrhea or constipation. The latter is a common problem for many elderly people and people in non-active professions.

Because the spleen controls muscles, and the intestinal muscles are also controlled by the "spleen temper" in traditional Chinese medicine, people who defecate slowly often have spleen deficiency. To improve it, you need to exercise more. During exercise, the intestinal muscles will also move passively. If you really cannot exercise, you should insist on rubbing your stomach in a clockwise direction every day. This is also a way to make the intestines move passively.

I recommend a recipe for strengthening the spleen and relieving constipation: 30 grams of raw Atractylodes macrocephala, 10 grams of Cistanche deserticola, 10 grams of Angelica sinensis, and 3 grams of Cimicifuga heracleifolia. Boil them in water every day and drink them instead. You will notice that bowel movements will be much easier in about three days.
