With the continuous development of science and technology, people's living standards have been unprecedentedly improved, but the resulting work and life pressures are also constantly increasing. Before, we only needed to solve the problem of food and clothing to feel very happy, but now that the problem of food and clothing has been solved, while we are pursuing other material life, our happiness index is indeed declining, and our mood is becoming increasingly depressed.

What should we do in the face of such a situation? In fact, many people now go to see a psychologist to calm their depressed mood. In fact, in daily life, we don’t necessarily need to go to a psychologist for treatment. Next, let’s take a general look at what we should do when facing a depressed mood.

1. Transfer method. When you feel depressed, you might as well try the diversion method. That is to put aside the things that affect your mood first, and then do other things. After a period of time, maybe that thing will no longer cause you to feel depressed. If you take this opportunity to deal with it, things will be much better.

2. Meditation method. When we feel depressed, we need to close our eyes quietly, and then use meditation methods to think about good things, think about a state in which we are not depressed, think about ourselves laughing happily, and beautiful scenes. In that way, we will feel that the current depressed state is a piece of cake.

3. Sweating method. This one is suitable for male friends. When you feel depressed, I suggest you go hiking or do some fitness to sweat out the unhappy factors in your body. Any vigorous exercise will make you forget the depressing process. Of course, it would be even better if you have a high-quality sleep after exercise.

4. Music Law. Depressed mood needs good music to release. To be honest, you can play the music at full volume at home, naturally playing your favorite type of music. Then you can go crazy at home, drink at home, and dance at home. No one can control you anyway, so you can release your depressed mood.

5. Yelling method. If you really can't suppress your emotions, you can learn from what you see on TV and run to the mountains or an open place, and then shout and yell at those places. This is the best way to relieve your depressed mood. In this way, you can let out the anger that is accumulated in your heart, let nature embrace it, and you will be released.

6. Stimulation method. This is the method I use most often, and that is the stimulation method. When I’m in a bad mood or feeling depressed, I like to go to a noisy place, especially a dance hall or a bar, to release my emotions, have a drink or dance, and I’ll naturally feel happy.

7. Concentration method. If I don’t want to interact with more people but am still feeling depressed, I will use the concentration method to relieve myself. I would just take a book that I wanted to learn but didn’t have the time to study, such as my favorite advanced mathematics. I would take out some questions and then do and solve them. When my mind is focused on one thing or another, I will forget about my depressed mood.

8. The method of talking. This is the method chosen by many women. If she is your best friend, then when you are depressed, you can find your best friend to chat, eat, and go shopping. Best friends are on your side unconditionally. Even though they may make fun of you occasionally, they are definitely your good sisters when you have problems.

9. Gourmet food. Okay, I have to admit that this is what I use. If you are feeling depressed, you can go to a buffet by yourself and take whatever you want. The feeling of having no restrictions on the types and quantities of food will definitely make you immerse yourself in the food and forget your unhappy mood.

10. Sleep method. Some people and some things will make us feel bad. In this case, close your eyes, don’t think about these people or these things, wash yourself, lie on a comfortable bed, and then fall asleep. In this way, when you wake up, you may have forgotten what the depressed mood was like just now.

The above are some of the methods we can try when we feel depressed. Of course, if the above methods have been tried, but the depressed mood has not been improved or the situation has become more serious, then we need to go to the hospital for treatment in time.
