Gonorrhea is a very common and harmful sexually transmitted disease, ranking second among our sexually transmitted disease patients. Everyone is familiar with sexually transmitted diseases. It is a disease caused by unclean sexual life and is generally more common in young men and women with active sexual lives. The disease is highly contagious and transmissible. People are very scared when they hear about sexually transmitted diseases. So what harm will sexually transmitted diseases cause?

Gonorrhea has a great impact on the patient's work and life, and due to the particularity of the disease, the psychological blow to the patient cannot be ignored. The complications of the disease are also varied. Below we will analyze the specific hazards of this disease.

1) Concurrent with other diseases . Such as urethral adenitis, periurethral tissue inflammation and abscess, preputial adenitis, vas deferens, seminal vesiculitis, hydrocele, orchitis, prostatitis, balanoposthitis, gonococcal ulcer, epididymitis and urethral stenosis. Gonorrhea can also spread through the blood, causing arthritis, hepatitis, and severe cases can be life-threatening.

2) Induce infertility. Gonorrhea retrograde infection, infecting the male prostate, seminal vesicles, and epididymis. If sperm becomes abnormal, infertility will occur. Women can be infected with the cervix, endometrium, fallopian tubes, etc., causing salpingitis, fallopian tube blockage, and infertility.

3) Cause urination disorder or urinary retention . The urinary pain is mild, and only a burning or mild stinging sensation is felt in the urethra during urination. Terminal hematuria is often seen. The urine is generally transparent, but gonorrhea hyphae can be seen floating in it. The urethral opening is red and swollen, with burning pain, sticky pus discharge, etc.

4) Cause sexual dysfunction . If gonorrhea is not treated promptly, symptoms such as loss of libido, weak erections, impotence, premature ejaculation and neurasthenia may occur.

From the above introduction, it can be seen that gonorrhea brings great harm to patients, and the disease is highly contagious. When patients are receiving treatment, it is best for couples to be treated together. Sexual life must be avoided during treatment. In addition, they should also pay attention to developing regular eating habits, exercise more to improve physical fitness, and enhance their own resistance to diseases.
