Is the success rate of brain aneurysm surgery not high?

Aneurysm is a very serious disease and it may also occur in the brain. We should be careful to choose the appropriate method to deal with it, but isn’t the success rate of brain aneurysm surgery high?

After brain aneurysm surgery, the success rate is still high. However, complications and bleeding during surgery can reduce the success rate.

Currently part of the treatment for brain aneurysms is surgery. After the aneurysm is removed, if the surgeon is very experienced it can be completely removed during surgery. There is little bleeding and the success rate is very high.

The new treatment methods are mainly interventional surgery, minimally invasive intervention, coils or packing. The success rate of the operation has been significantly improved. Compared with traditional surgery, this minimally invasive surgical treatment has a higher success rate. Both methods have their own advantages and disadvantages, and they are selected according to the specific location, size, shape and specific situation of the patient's aneurysm.

Aneurysm rerupture is a serious complication of intravascular embolism caused by sharp fluctuations in blood pressure, mechanical stimulation during surgery, and changes in the coagulation mechanism of postoperative anticoagulation therapy. Tumor rupture and mortality increase with age. Patients may suddenly experience mental tension, painful expressions, agitation, severe headaches, varying degrees of consciousness disorders, and urinary incontinence. Emergency CT examination showed subarachnoid hemorrhage, and bloody cerebrospinal fluid was visible in the waist.

Patients must be carefully observed at all times to detect and notify doctors for timely treatment. After surgery, they will be admitted to the neurosurgery department. The ICU carefully observes the patient's state of consciousness, pupil changes, limb movements, vital signs, especially blood pressure and respiratory changes. Lower the control of hypertensive patients and reduce blood pressure to around 16/1lKpa. Instruct awake patients to stay in bed for 48 to 72 hours, do not shake their heads violently for 48 hours, keep their emotions stable, and have smooth bowel movements.

The success rate of aneurysm surgery varies from individual to individual. Everyone should pay attention to taking good care of their health and deal with this issue strictly according to the doctor's instructions.
