What are the methods for diagnosing renal hamartoma

Renal hamartoma is also called renal angiomyolipoma. It is a benign tumor composed of abnormal proliferating blood vessels, smooth muscle, fat, etc. in different proportions. It can occur in the kidneys, brain, heart and other parts. It is more common in adult women. Most of them are mainly fat, and smooth muscle is relatively rare. The four methods for diagnosis are B-ultrasound, MIR, CT examination and intravenous urography.

Renal hamartoma is composed of smooth muscle and fat in different proportions. It is more common in adult women. Some patients will not be found to have renal hamartoma during physical examinations because their symptoms are not obvious. In terms of diet, you should choose high-nutrition and easily digestible foods to avoid constipation. Exercise should be determined according to the size of the tumor. You should maintain a strong and optimistic mood and not let negative emotions drag down your body. Reduce or quit the habit of smoking. There are four common methods for diagnosing renal hamartoma.

1. B-ultrasound examination. This is a relatively characteristic examination, and it is cheap. It does not cause trauma, and the examination effect is very good. It can confirm the patient's diseased part and the size of the diseased tissue.

2. CT examination. This is the main examination method. This examination has good penetration and a high detection rate. It can confirm relevant case factors through density differences in the kidney area, and can also see masses with uneven density and the amount of fat tissue.

3. Intravenous urography. Although this method can be confirmed in a short time, its accuracy is also very accurate and will not cause any harm to the patient. It is also a good examination method.

4. MIR, which is a test that has only been available in recent years, also plays a big role in the diagnosis of renal hamartoma. If ultrasound and CT are difficult to diagnose, renal MIR can be used for examination.

B-ultrasound, CT examination and intravenous urography can be used in combination to reduce the probability of misdiagnosis. After confirming the patient's condition, medical staff will take corresponding measures according to the physical condition and severity. Generally, they can be divided into conservative and surgical treatment. However, no matter which method is used, you should pay attention to your own health. If you have symptoms such as low back pain and hematuria, you should seek timely diagnosis and treatment. Because the early symptoms of renal hamartoma are not obvious, if you miss the treatment time, it may lead to massive bleeding and shock, endangering your life.
