What are the early symptoms of lymphoma

Lymphoma is a relatively serious cancer. Experts point out that early lymphoma is the earliest stage of the disease development. If lymphoma patients can understand and seize the opportunity of lymphoma diagnosis and treatment in time, then the treatment effect at this time is the best. Therefore, understanding some early symptoms of lymphoma is very helpful for timely detection and treatment of the disease.

The early symptoms of lymphoma mainly include:

1. Lymphoma patients may have fever, and the fever pattern is mostly irregular, ranging between 38 and 39 degrees Celsius for many years. Some lymphoma patients may have continuous high fever, or intermittent low fever. A few have periodic fever and weight loss. Most early symptoms of lymphoma will also include weight loss, reducing more than 10% of the original body weight within 6 months.

2. Extranodal lesions of cervical lymphoma. Lymphoma can invade various tissues and organs throughout the body. For example, liver and spleen infiltration causes hepatomegaly; gastrointestinal infiltration causes abdominal pain, bloating, intestinal obstruction and bleeding; lung and pleural infiltration causes cough and pleural effusion. These are all early symptoms of lymphoma.

3. The early symptoms of lymphoma are swollen lymph nodes, including superficial and deep lymph nodes. The characteristics are that the swollen lymph nodes are progressive, painless, hard, and most of them can be moved. In the early stage of lymphoma, the disease does not adhere to each other, but in the late stage, they may fuse. Anti-inflammatory and anti-tuberculosis treatments are ineffective. Superficial lymph nodes are more common in the neck, followed by the armpits and abdominal groove. Deep lymph nodes are more common in the mediastinum and beside the abdominal aorta. Lymph node enlargement in patients with lymphoma causes local compression symptoms, mainly deep lymph nodes, such as enlarged mediastinal lymph nodes, which may compress the esophagus and cause dysphagia.
