Tips for cooking frozen dumplings

Dumplings are an indispensable delicacy in modern life. Dumplings are delicious, easy to make, and can bring great dietary pleasure to people's lives. With the substantial improvement of living standards, people like to buy a large number of ready-made dumplings and store them in the refrigerator for cooking at any time. However, it takes certain skills to cook frozen dumplings. Let’s take a look at the techniques for cooking quick-frozen dumplings.

Quick-frozen dumplings are dumplings that have been quickly frozen and refrigerated so that they can be eaten at any time. Dumplings are a traditional specialty food loved by the Han Chinese people and are a must-eat during the Spring Festival every year.

Quick-frozen dumplings have become a common food among ordinary people and on canteen tables. However, since quick-frozen dumplings may be contaminated with pathogens, food poisoning can easily occur if they are not cooked enough.

The first is to boil three kinds of water.

Specific operation method:

1. Put the dumplings in cold water and boil them over medium heat. During this step, be sure to use the back of a spoon to gently stir the dumplings in a clockwise direction against the edge of the pot to keep them rotating to prevent them from sticking together.

2. After the water boils, cook for about 1 minute, add a small bowl of cold water, and continue to boil; it is best to stir at this step.

3. After the water boils again, add a small bowl of cold water and continue to boil; there is basically no need to stir at this step.

4. After the water boils again, add another small bowl of cold water and continue to boil; this is the third batch of water, turn off the heat, and you can eat!

Two points to note: 1. Keep the pot open throughout the process, don’t cover it! 2. If, by any chance, the third water is still not cooked enough, then do the same as before and add another water. However, there is a 99% chance that it will be cooked through!

Second, boil the water first. The water should not be too little, otherwise it will stick to the bottom of the pot.

After the water boils, put the frozen dumplings into the pot (no need to freeze them) and constantly stir them along the edge of the pot with a spoon to prevent the dumplings from sticking. (Put the back of the spoon toward the dumplings to avoid cutting them, then you can eat the noodle soup instead)

When the water in the pot boils, add cold water and bring it to a boil again. (Boil the meat filling 2 to 3 times; boil the vegetarian filling twice), then scoop it out.
