In our daily lives, we often come into contact with objects containing thorns, such as cactus and fish spines. These objects often enter our bodies accidentally, and sometimes we often cannot feel it when a finger is pricked. Many times, when a puncture wound is found, it is difficult to find the wound. If the puncture wound is not removed in time, it may cause inflammation of the finger. So what should you do if you can’t find the punctured finger? 1. Pain only occurs when the thorn in your finger has not been removed but the outer skin has healed. The current solution is to use a needle to cut the flesh and pick out the thorn, then clean and disinfect it with alcohol. You can sprinkle some antibiotic particles on the wound and bandage it with a Band-Aid. This can speed up the healing of the wound and avoid the occurrence of inflammation caused by bacterial infection again. After the thorn is picked out, you should maintain personal hygiene in your daily life and avoid stimulating it too much, otherwise it will become festered and infected again, and the treatment time will be longer. If the situation is serious, it is best to go to the hospital for professional treatment. 2. It should be an inflammatory infection. Tetanus is also a type of inflammatory infection. It is recommended to clean the wound as soon as possible, carry out anti-infection treatment, apply effective antibiotics, and promote recovery. Soak the prickly finger in warm vinegar water. After the skin softens and wrinkles, the thorn will be easier to find. Then use a needle or tweezers sterilized with iodine to slowly pull it out. If you can't find it, cover the thorny area with medicine and a Band-Aid. You will be able to find and pull it out after a day. 3. Some insects may release stingers in self-defense, but some will also release some gas inside the skin. Some wasps or bees will release stingers or toxic gas in their bodies when stinging people. If there is no stinger, you can try wiping it with vinegar, volatile alcohol, or wind oil, or slowly prick the painful area of the skin with a needle. 4. If your finger is pierced by a lighter-colored thorn, you will only feel pain, but the location of the thorn cannot be seen with the naked eye. Over time, it is easy to cause infection. You need to go to the hospital to see a professional doctor. The wound can be enlarged under local anesthesia to remove the thorn smoothly. And take some antibiotics orally as appropriate. If it is confirmed that something has entered the wound, you can see the surface breakage, but you still have to pick it out, otherwise it will be uncomfortable, and if it grows into the flesh, it may also cause stinging pain. |
