How to reduce masticatory muscle atrophy

The chewing muscles are relatively large and will affect a person's facial shape, so many people hope to make the chewing muscles thinner through some methods. In fact, there are many techniques in life that can achieve this goal, such as facial masks, or correct facial massage, and some facial chewing exercises, which can effectively sell the chewing muscles.

Method 1 : facial mask

After washing your face in the morning and evening, gently pat or tap your face with your hands until your cheeks turn slightly red. This method can not only promote blood circulation in the face and make the face rosy, but also achieve the effect of tightening the face and highlighting the contours. Apply a hot towel on your masseter muscle for 5 minutes before going to bed at night. You will see the effect after two or three months. This method does not cost any money, as long as you persist, it is worth a try.

Method 2 : Massage

STEP 1: Bring the other four fingers except the thumb together and place them on the face approximately at the position of the upper and lower molars. Draw circles on the face and gently pat 3-5 times from the inside to the outside. After finishing one side, switch to the other side and repeat 5 times. When patting, the mouth muscles are relaxed, so they appear slightly open.

STEP 2. On the cheeks, use your thumb to apply gentle pressure from the inside to the outside, also drawing small circles. This action can be done on both cheeks, and it will be enough for about 100-120 times.

STEP 3. The last step is to put your palms together and pat your cheeks 40-50 times, left and right.

Method 3 : Facial Exercises

First, put the gum in your mouth and chew it to move your facial muscles. Then, when the facial muscles gradually adapt, pull up the right corner of your mouth while chewing, move the gum to the inside of your right cheek, keep your mouth closed and the right corner of your mouth lifted up, chew the gum slowly for 10 times, then chew rhythmically at a faster speed for 20 times, and then switch left and right.
