Can allergies cause a fast heart rate?

In our lives, there are always some people with special physiques. Their body resistance is relatively low, and they are particularly prone to various allergic reactions. Generally, the more obvious manifestation of allergies is that the patient's skin will have some red bumps, and they will feel pain or itching. Some patients may also experience rapid heartbeat and dizziness. So will allergies cause a fast heart rate?

1. Anaphylactic shock reaction:

(1) Symptoms of respiratory obstruction: caused by laryngeal edema, tracheal and bronchial spasm, and pulmonary edema. Symptoms include chest tightness, palpitations, a feeling of blockage in the throat, difficulty breathing and flushed face, accompanied by a sense of danger, dry mouth, dizziness, and numbness of the face and limbs.

(2) Symptoms of microcirculation disorders: caused by extensive dilation of microvessels. Symptoms include pale complexion, irritability, chills, cold sweats, weak pulse and low blood pressure.

(3) Central nervous system symptoms: caused by brain hypoxia. Symptoms include loss of consciousness, coma, convulsions, and incontinence.

(4) Allergic skin reactions: such as itching, urticaria and other various rashes.

2. Hematologic disease-like reactions. The differentiation of reaction types in this group depends mainly on changes in blood tests. The main symptoms include: granulocytopenia or deficiency, thrombocytopenia, aplastic anemia, hemolytic anemia and megaloblastic anemia.

3. Serum sickness-like reaction. The main reaction symptoms are serum sickness-like changes, and the common clinical manifestations are sudden widespread erythema and urticaria-like rash, which may be accompanied by fever, joint pain and lymphadenopathy.

4. Other systemic reactions. Most skin and mucous membrane rashes caused by drugs belong to this type. The clinical manifestations are varied. The common allergic drug eruptions include: fixed drug eruption, epidermolysis bullosa, exfoliative dermatitis drug eruption, eczematous dermatitis drug eruption, erythema multiforme and severe erythema multiforme drug eruption, photosensitivity drug eruption, etc.

Prevention of allergic reactions is better than cure. We should start by paying attention to our daily life, proper diet and appropriate physical exercise. First of all, in early spring, the temperature is still cold. Under the stimulation of cold air, the thyroid gland functions hyperactively, consumes calories, and weakens the body's endurance and resistance. Therefore, the diet is still mainly high in calories. In addition to eating more bean products, you can also eat glutinous rice products, soybeans, sesame powder, peanuts, walnuts and other foods. You should also increase the supplementation of high-quality protein, such as eggs, shrimp, fish, beef and other foods. These foods are rich in amino acids and have the effect of increasing the body's ability to withstand cold. In addition, it is necessary to take in enough multiple vitamins and minerals. For example, vitamin D has antiviral properties. Foods rich in vitamin D include Chinese cabbage, tomato vegetables, and citrus, lemon and other fruits. Vitamin A can protect and enhance the function of the upper respiratory tract mucosa and respiratory epithelial cells, thereby resisting the invasion of various pathogenic factors. Foods rich in vitamin A include carrots. Vitamin E has the function of improving human immunity and enhancing disease resistance. Foods rich in vitamin E include cabbage, cauliflower, sesame, etc. In addition, black fungus and mushrooms are also indispensable foods. The next thing is to engage in appropriate outdoor activities to improve the body's disease resistance, which is very beneficial for preventing spring allergies.
