The dangers of bleaching hair

The dangers of bleaching hair

More and more people choose to dye their hair, because if they find a hair color that suits them, it can enhance their appearance. Some people dye their hair for special reasons. Some darker hair colors can be dyed with hair dye, but some lighter hair colors need to be bleached before dyeing. Bleaching hair is very bad for the human body. Let’s take a look at the dangers of bleaching hair.

1. The harm of bleaching hair

Hair bleaching is to wash away the original melanin in the hair. Bleaching uses bleaching powder and hydrogen peroxide. There are several degrees of hydrogen peroxide. Different degrees have different speeds of effectiveness and the degree of damage to hair is also different. Dyeing your hair after bleaching will make the color more vivid and purer. Hair bleaching allows toxic chemicals to come into close contact with the scalp, which can cause allergic reactions and allergic dermatitis. Long-term hair bleaching can induce cancer.

2. Which is more harmful, bleaching or dyeing hair?

The hazards of bleaching and dyeing hair are basically the same. Currently, most of the hair dyes on the market are aniline-based chemically synthesized toxic hair dyes, which contain a variety of toxic substances. Both bleaching and dyeing hair damage hair, the only difference is the degree of damage. Bleaching powder is the most damaging of all hair products. Add to that the high (greater than 6°) hydrogen peroxide, and if your entire head is dyed! It should be useless after you finish it! ! If there are only a few floating, it’s no big deal!

3. How to bleach hair without damaging it

Steps for healthy fading:

Step 1: Apply scalp isolation lotion.

Step 2: Apply egg white hair foundation primer (a thin layer is enough).

Step 3: Apply bleaching powder + essential oil + 3% colorant on the hair (0.5 cm per piece, must be applied evenly, do not pile it too thick on the hair). Partial fading requires wrapping with tin foil.

Step 4: Leave it for 25-40 minutes.

Step 5: Use shampoo to wash away the bleaching powder (the bleaching powder cannot be washed away without shampoo).

Step 6: Use hair care products to treat your hair.

When it comes to bleaching, we can’t just pursue speed. The first starting point is to protect the customer’s hair. Only then can the hair business last long. If you want to bleach the hair to a color above 8 degrees in one go, you can mix bleaching powder + 6% hydrogen peroxide + essential oil evenly, divide the hair into 0.3cm pieces and wrap them with tin foil. Using the above method, the original hair can withstand at least 4 consecutive bleaching times without becoming "spongy".
