When people wear clothes for a long time, wrinkles are inevitable. The best way to solve this problem is to use an electric iron for ironing. However, the electric irons used in most households now are steam irons. Although they are very convenient to use, they can easily lead to a situation where the iron leaks. So, if this happens, how to solve it? For a steam iron to work properly, the steam holes and water tank need to keep water flowing, but it does not require water to flow out from the bottom of the iron. If water does flow out, it is called a water leak. If this happens, you must pay attention to cut off the power supply in time for inspection and maintenance. If a leak occurs, check: 1. When water is just added and the power is not turned on, water flows out directly from the bottom plate. Please check whether the steam knob is in the "0" position. 2. When you start ironing, turn on the steam knob after checking that the indicator light is on. If the temperature is not high enough, the water will not be able to atomize sufficiently. Check whether the plug is properly plugged in. If the plug is not properly plugged in, because the indicator light is also off, the temperature is not high enough, and the water cannot be heated into steam, so when you press the spray button, water will leak out of the steam hole; 3. The temperature control knob should be adjusted to the correct position. The steam spray function requires level 3 or above. The low temperature is not high enough, and the water cannot be atomized into steam, which may cause water leakage; 4. The spray button can only be pressed when the temperature control indicator light is off. If the spray button is pressed when the indicator light is on, the water will not be atomized, causing hot water to leak from the bottom. 5. When using steam spray, the interval between pressing the spray button should be no less than 2 seconds (do not press it when the indicator light is on, and you can press the button only after the light goes out), otherwise the hot water will flow out from the bottom plate before it is atomized into steam. 6. When using the quadruple steam function, the steam knob should be switched to the "O" off position and the temperature control knob should be adjusted to the "6th" level, otherwise water may drip out. For the cases of water leakage in electric iron, they are basically the cases mentioned above. You can perform simple repairs yourself after inspection. In addition, in order to avoid water leakage from the electric iron as much as possible, you must be careful when ironing clothes not to tilt the electric iron or shake it too much during use. |
