Should thyroid cancer be treated with surgery?

Whether thyroid cancer requires surgery depends mainly on the stage of thyroid cancer, pathological type and the patient's physical condition. It is usually recommended that such patients follow the doctor's advice to use chemotherapy drugs such as paclitaxel injection and cisplatin injection, or adjuvant treatment with radioactive iodine-131;

3. Other situations: For some thyroid cancer patients with poor physical condition, they may not be able to tolerate surgical trauma during the course of the disease. At this time, it is not recommended for such patients to undergo surgical treatment to avoid aggravating physical discomfort symptoms. It is usually recommended that such patients follow the doctor's advice to use drugs such as levothyroxine sodium tablets for conservative treatment.
