What should we pay attention to in preventing liver cancer? There are four major ways of transmission of hepatitis B

Today, when we talk about cancer, we are afraid of it. When we talk about liver disease, especially infectious hepatitis B, we will think of liver cancer. There is indeed a connection between the two. Clinically, most liver cancers are evolved from hepatitis B, which is highly contagious. Therefore, we need to do a good job in the prevention and treatment of infectious liver disease. If we can control this issue well, we can reduce the incidence of liver cancer to a minimum.

The incidence of primary liver cancer in my country is relatively high, ranking fourth among malignant tumors, and the mortality rate ranks third among malignant tumors. In addition, the disease progresses very quickly and is known as the "king of cancer." Although liver cancer is not a genetic disease, it is related to heredity and has a very obvious familial nature. Families with a high incidence of liver cancer need to avoid infectious liver diseases. Liver cancer itself is not contagious, but if the liver cancer patient has a background of hepatitis B virus infection, it should be considered to be somewhat contagious, especially if the hepatitis B virus infection is still in the active stage, that is, the hepatitis B virus is contagious, not liver cancer.

To avoid hepatitis B virus, we must first know the main transmission routes of hepatitis B virus:

1. Blood transmission: the most common, such as blood transfusion;

2. Nosocomial transmission: such as injection or vaccination;

3. Mother-to-child transmission: However, hepatitis B immunoglobulin can effectively inhibit the transmission of hepatitis B from mother to child or from father to child, with an efficiency of more than 90%;

4. Sexual transmission: Adults have a relatively complete immune system and can generally eliminate the hepatitis B virus in time and are not easily infected. Therefore, the possibility of transmitting the hepatitis B virus through saliva (kissing) is relatively small.

For family members with a high incidence of liver cancer, the first thing to do is to avoid the occurrence of these problems, and also to do the following things.

1. You need to change your bad eating habits, don’t eat pickled food and pickles, don’t eat moldy food, don’t drink alcohol, and eat more dietary fiber;

2. For couples infected with hepatitis B virus, the transmission of the virus between mother and child should be blocked under the guidance of obstetricians;

3. Minimize contact with carcinogens, avoid occupations that involve contact with carcinogens, or take self-protection measures.

4. Maintaining an optimistic attitude is also an important part of liver cancer prevention.

Fifth, it is more important to develop regular living and eating habits, exercise more, avoid staying up late, and improve physical condition. This can truly improve the body's resistance and immunity, which can effectively reduce the possibility of infectious liver disease.
