Taiwan's "Health" magazine ranks the seven diseases that are most harmful to men's health, hoping to help men detect diseases early and take preventive measures.

1. Men are most afraid of cardiovascular diseases.

Arteriosclerosis means "man's worst enemy" in Latin. Indeed, because women have estrogen protection, they develop cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases about 10 years later than men. Moreover, cholesterol slowly deposits in the blood vessels of the heart or brain. Once blocked, heart disease or stroke will occur. Men should work harder to reduce their risk of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases: after the age of 20, check cholesterol every 5 years. If abnormal, first quit smoking, then increase the amount of activity by at least half an hour every day, and eat more fruits and vegetables.

Liver cancer has no symptoms and is difficult to detect. It can only be diagnosed through screening. Responsible men should check whether they are carrying the hepatitis virus as soon as possible. Eating grapes every day can prevent liver cancer

Fruits can not only supplement the vitamins needed by the human body, but also prevent primary liver cancer.

In the United States, a fruit called raspberry is rich in "tannic acid". Experts mixed "tannic acid" with liver cancer cells and found that "tannic acid" can actually inhibit tumor growth.

In fact, fruits such as grapes and apples also have anti-cancer effects. Among them, grape skin contains anthocyanins, flavonoids, plant polyphenols and other highly effective anti-cancer substances. Moreover, substances with antioxidant effects, tumor cell proliferation inhibition and angiogenesis promotion can be extracted from grapes and apples.

Studies have found that hepatitis B virus carriers, people in rural areas who consume moldy food for a long time, and high-risk groups with a family history of genetic diseases can effectively prevent primary liver cancer by eating fruits such as raspberries and grapes for a long time.

How to eat fruits? There are three points to note: First, eat at least two kinds of fruits such as grapes, apples or oranges every day. If you eat them with three or more vegetables such as cauliflower, tomatoes, carrots, etc., the effect will be better; second, grapes, apples and other fruits need to be soaked, washed and eaten with the peel; third, the daily intake of vegetables and fruits should not be less than 400-500 grams, and the variety of fruits and vegetables should be as many as possible.
