How to use medical oxygen bags

Medical oxygen bags are easy to carry and are widely used. However, when using medical oxygen bags, you must pay attention that the maximum pressure of this type of oxygen bag cannot exceed 10.6 kPa. If this pressure is exceeded, it may cause accidents. It should also be noted that when using a medical oxygen bag for the first time, the oxygen bag should be filled with air first to allow the remaining oxygen in the bag to be expelled.

As the name suggests, oxygen bags are bags used to hold oxygen, and are mainly made of non-toxic materials with no harmful chemical effects. The oxygen bag is easy to carry and simple to operate. It can be used for home health care or for emergency transportation in medical institutions.

Physical properties of medical oxygen: color, taste, state: colorless and odorless gas (standard conditions), melting point: -218.4℃, boiling point: -182.9℃. Density: 1.429 g/L (gas), 1.419 g/cm3 (liquid), 1.426 g/cm3 (solid). Water solubility: not easily soluble in water. Under standard conditions, about 30 mL of oxygen can be dissolved in 1 L of water. Storage: sky blue steel cylinder.

How to use the portable oxygen bag: When the oxygen from the portable oxygen bag passes through the humidifier, bubbles can be seen appearing in the cup, indicating that the humidifier is working properly. Portable oxygen bags are suitable for patients with hypoxic diseases, plateau hypoxia, and oxygen health care. The working principle of the portable oxygen bag is to turn on the oxygen supply switch, the high-pressure oxygen in the oxygen bag passes through the pressure reducing valve, and then is fine-tuned through the flow regulating switch to output the required flow rate. Connect the oxygen tube, humidifier, oxygen tube and nasal plug to supply oxygen.

The above introduces some physical properties of medical oxygen and how to use medical oxygen bags. It is also necessary to explain here that when using medical oxygen bags, the oxygen bags must not be squeezed or placed close to fire. When using medical oxygen bags, high temperatures must be avoided and friction and collision with sharp objects must be avoided.
