Bladder tumors are relatively common urinary system tumors and are more common in middle-aged and elderly men. The occurrence of bladder tumors not only causes serious harm to people's bodies, but also brings tremendous pressure to people's spirits. So many patients have a question: can male bladder tumors be cured? Because the effectiveness of treatment determines the happiness of the family, we must carefully analyze the symptoms. The most common early symptom of bladder tumor is hematuria that can be seen with the naked eye without any feeling. This is a unique "abnormal urination signal" of bladder tumor. Almost every bladder tumor patient will experience it, and bladder tumor patients seek medical treatment for this reason. There are two types of hematuria: macroscopic hematuria and microscopic hematuria. Macroscopic hematuria refers to bloody urine that can be seen directly with the eyes, and microscopic hematuria refers to red blood cells that can be found in the urine under a microscope. Hematuria caused by bladder tumors is mostly painless and intermittent. Most cases are full-course hematuria, and a few are terminal hematuria. Hematuria accompanied by frequent urination and urgency is less common. For most patients, bladder tumors are completely curable. Low-grade, superficial bladder tumors are, in a sense, cured once the tumor has been completely removed. Unfortunately, bladder tumors are prone to recurrence. Even though the tumor has been completely removed, new tumors may grow in the original or new location. Therefore, regular follow-up examinations are needed after surgery. Most recurrent tumors discovered early are still curable. For patients whose tumors have invaded the bladder muscle layer, cure is possible. The surgeon removes part or all of the bladder. If the tumor is completely removed, you can also say that you are cured. Surgery can cure bladder tumors that are confined to the bladder. Unfortunately, there is no way to know if the tumor has been completely removed. The surgeon does not know if any cancer cells have left the bladder under the microscope. In patients who are suspected of this, such as tumors that appear at the edge of the removed tissue, further chemotherapy and radiation therapy after surgery can improve the chances of curing the tiny tumors that remain in the body. The symptoms of bladder tumors are different in the early and late stages. In fact, these contents are telling patients that they must control the disease in a timely manner. Early intervention treatment can greatly improve the cure rate of the disease and avoid a lot of pain. However, in the late stage, any method may not be very effective, so we must seize the golden period of treatment. |
