How to treat injuries from falls?

Generally, cases of bruises and injuries are treated with medications. These medications can reduce swelling, relieve pain, and promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis. A common one is Yunnan Baiyao. Chinese patent medicines are effective, and good care should be taken on a daily basis, especially for the injured area.

1. Oral Chinese patent medicine

1. Yunnan Baiyao This product is also known as Baiyao. It has the functions of promoting blood circulation, reducing swelling, relieving pain and stopping bleeding. It is mainly used to treat injuries caused by falls and bleeding due to trauma. Generally, take 0.2~0.3g each time. If the symptoms are more severe, take 0.5g each time, 2~3 times a day. There is a safety pill in the medicine box. In case of serious injuries, you can take one pill with rice wine first. However, it should not be taken for minor illnesses or other diseases. Pregnant women should avoid taking this medicine.

2. Panax notoginseng injury medicine tablets. This product was originally named Shanghai Baiyao. It is made from Panax notoginseng, Artemisia annua, safflower, etc. It has the functions of promoting blood circulation, removing blood stasis and relieving pain. Mainly used to treat traumatic injuries. Take 3 tablets each time, 3 times a day. Do not overdose.

Panax notoginseng tablets This product is made from Panax notoginseng. It has the functions of dispersing blood stasis, stopping bleeding, reducing swelling and relieving pain. It is mainly used to treat swelling and pain caused by traumatic injuries; it can also be used for abdominal pain caused by postpartum blood stasis, angina pectoris due to coronary heart disease, as well as vomiting blood, epistaxis, and bloody stools. Take 3 to 5 tablets each time, 1 to 2 times a day. Pregnant women should take with caution.

3. Qilin Powder: This product is made of musk, borneol, frankincense, myrrh, safflower, dragon's blood, cinnabar and catechu. It has the functions of promoting blood circulation, removing blood stasis, reducing swelling and relieving pain. It is mainly used to treat blood stasis, swelling and pain after trauma. Take 0.6~1.5g each time, 1~2 times a day. Pregnant women should avoid taking this medicine.

4. Dieda Pills: This product is made from Panax notoginseng, red peony root, frankincense, myrrh, Trillium, Sappan wood, safflower, Sanguisorba officinalis, white peony root, peach kernel, natural copper, Saposhnikovia divaricata, Drynaria fortunei, Achyranthes bidentata, Angelica sinensis, Moutan bark, Scolopendra subspinipes, Citrus aurantium, Platycodon grandiflorum, Akebia trifoliata, Melon seeds, Chuanduan, Turmeric, and Licorice. It has the functions of promoting blood circulation, dispersing blood stasis, reducing swelling and relieving pain. It is mainly used to treat blood stasis, swelling and pain caused by trauma. Take 1 pill each time, 2 to 3 times a day. Pregnant women should avoid taking this medicine.

2. Chinese patent medicine for external use

1. Healing tincture: This product is made from Xu Changqing, Artemisia annua, Hibiscus leaves, Liangmianzhen, Dalaosan, camphor, cinnamon oil and menthol. It has the functions of promoting blood circulation, removing blood stasis, reducing swelling and relieving pain. Mainly used to treat sprains and bruises. When using, apply to the affected area several times a day. This product is for external use only and should not be taken internally.

2. Muscle-hanging medicine: This product is made from raw gardenia, peach kernel, white mustard seed, almond and safflower. It has the function of promoting blood circulation, removing blood stasis, relaxing muscles and tendons. It is mainly used to treat pain in the injured area and difficulty in flexion and extension after trauma. This product is for external use only and should not be taken internally. When using, use 15g of the powder, mix it with liquor, flour, egg white, etc. and apply it to the affected area. Change the dressing once a day.

3. Blood-activating ointment: This product is made of costus root, angelica dahurica, nard, chuanxiong, borneol, raw rhubarb, turmeric, cynanchum wilfordii, angelica dahurica, acanthopanax notoginseng, and belladonna fluid extract. It has the functions of reducing swelling, relieving pain, dispelling wind and dampness. It is mainly used to treat blood stasis, swelling and pain caused by traumatic injuries; it can also be used for rheumatic pain and neuralgia. Generally, external stickers should be replaced every 1 to 2 days. Pregnant women should avoid sticking to their abdomen.
